2015 Kansas schedule posted!
Ron Deeken at Over the Hill Racing in Troy, KS finally set his 2015 schedule – just posted it up on the Kansas Hillclimb Schedule page.
The September dates will be the Kansas State Championship – which, as usual, will be part of the King of the Hill Championship Series!
Cayuga, IN events rained out
Pleasure Riders M/C has canceled their hillclimbs this weekend due to rain. They will be rescheduled for May 30th & 31st.
Hey D23 riders…
- If you haven’t already, get your D23 card ordered up from the D23 website at www.ARMCA.org. Remember, it’s $10 more expensive if you buy it on race day!
- If you’ve got a rider between 12 and 15 years old who’s maybe a bit big or too experienced for a regular 85cc machine, D23 has the new Super Mini class this year – 99-112cc 2-Strokes & 99-150cc 4-Strokes with big wheels. Either pick up a bona-fide Super Mini bike like a Honda CRF150, or roll your own by punching out, say, a YZ85 and putting big wheels on it.
- Indianhead M/C has just announced that they’re going to offer a 0-600cc 2-Stroke class at their amateur events this year! So get another ride on your 2-stroke just like the 4-stroke guys!
- While you’re at the IMC website, sign up for their free RainedOut texting service…if for any reason IMC has to cancel or postpone an event, they’ll send out a text to everyone who signs up – so you know not to make the drive to Red Wing only to find the gate locked and no one around. Get signed up now and maybe save yourself a little grief later on.
We now return you to your regularly-scheduled internet.
Looking for a few good websites?
The North American Hillclimbers Association has a brand-new website…you should go check it out!
Come to think of it, the Northwest Nitro Nationals has a new website too…
…and you know, I think Pleasure Riders Motorcycle Club got a new site a little while ago…
And oh yeah, our very own forums got a huge makeover just a bit ago too. Weird, huh? But kinda groovy! Now if ya’ll will excuse me, I think I’m gonna go lay down…feel kinda worn out for some reason…
